Can the Law Council provide me with legal advice?
The Law Council is the peak body representing the interests of the legal profession at the national level. Unfortunately, we have neither the mandate nor the resources to assist members of the public with legal advice.
There are a number of websites that provide access to legal information in a form that is more user-friendly for non-lawyers. For your assistance, we have provided links to these websites and to the websites of several community legal centres.
